Keoye River

We took a trip up the river in Bernie and Pat's Tender -- it's a beautiful river with plenty of fry jumping and noted to be Grizzly country.

An adventure!

There was once an old rock quarry operation here -- along since abandoned, although we are told that there is still a tunnel you can go through from one side of the mountain to the other. We were not on land and decided with all the Grizzlies in the area, it was probably a good idea not to stop off and see the tunnel!

One of the many abandoned shacks.

The river is quite gorgeous at every turn!

Although we didn't see a Grizzle -- hard as we tried -- we did cruise underneath this fellow who was very non-plussed by our presence.
