Pancakes at Shawl Bay

It seems that each marina has it's thing that they do. At Shawl Bay it's pancakes every morning. Boy where they good.
Shawl Bay, like most marinas up here, is a community of float buildings. A friendly family runs it and they make fresh bread and sticky buns and pies everyday they sell in their store. We had BBQ steak dinner aboard Mya II in the evening.

We leave Shawl Bay and cruise with Jack and Donna (Mya II) to Turnbull Harbor. Jack tells us that it will be great prawning and it surely was. We had dinner aboard a cappella -- a whole load of prawns from our pots!

Rich and I leave the next day to go up to McKenzie Inlet. It is a wonderful inlet with very tall perpendicular rock faces up to the clouds. A bit rainy today so it was rather eerie!

We anchor for the night in Carriden Bay, another beautiful spot and we have it to ourselves until a commercial crabber joins us late in the evening.

Now we're off to meet once again with Mya II at Sullivan Bay to replenish ship's stores then off to meet up with Golden Days at Jennis Bay.

On our way to Sullivan Bay - a touch foggy this morning!
