Jennis Bay, Drury Inlet

This boat isn't quite finished yet!

One of the cruisers on the B.C. waters this summer that we don't want to join for Happy Hour!

We made our way to Drury Inlet and spotted these seals sunbathing on the rocks. I guess they were just to full and tired after eating all my Salmon!!

Seals in Drury Inlet

Jennis Bay on Drury Inlet is a small marina owned by a great young family. They have made all of us so welcome. Tonight we have a pot luck dinner in the Cook Shed (see picture of blue shed below).

Unlike the other channels, coves, straits and bays we have visited, Drury Inlet is not nearly as mountainous and the land is also very flat. There was significant logging done throughout this area since it wasn't such a chore to get to the trees.

Great to be with our good friends again!

Next update will be from further along Drury Inlet.....
