Gallivanting Ganges or "Meandering the Market"

Yeah, the kids are here and we get to tumble with Wesley in the Park.

Grandma, what a big hat you have!

Saturday morning and it's time for a visit to the famous Ganges Farmer's Market. William, Briana, Wesley and Jocelyn have joined us from the mainland.

Ganges Saturday Farmer's Market, Salt Spring Is. .

Jocelyn -- looking foxy...

The sights and sounds of the market are a real treat for everyone.

Jams & Jellies, Yummmmm... Colorful pottery on display

The artisans are happy to chat with the tourists and explain their wares. This is truly a "farmer's market" as you can see neighbors and friends catching up with each other on the past week's news and enjoying the personal side of commerce on the Island.

Soap, Soap, Soap, Soap -- thought I'd sing a few bars!

We ended our morning with lunch........
