London Day 2 - St. Paul's

Trafalgar Square behind, we leave the lions to look after Nelson. They say that the scuplter didn't have a lion to fashion the head of the lion so he used a poodle as a model. I must say it had to have been a fierce looking poodle!

Next stop was the grand St. Paul's Cathedral. It is hard to describe how immense it is.

Richard at the door to the Cathedral. It was Saturday and they were conducting paid tours. We decided to forgo that in favor of attending Sunday sung Eucharist the next day.

On the bus again, we pass the memorial to the people of London, marking the great fire that ravished the city. I can't remember the date now, but surely Helen will tell us!
